Another fun field trip. Today we drove south to Monterey and their gorgeous aquarium there. Favorite parts were the jellyfish experience exhibit (set to psychedelic music!), the seahorses, floor to ceiling oceanscapes that was better than any television show, and Steve's and my favorite--the giant octopus (at that point Wugs was practically falling asleep atop Steve's shoulders so she wasn't too impressed.)
I'm loving this stage of showing Wugs anything and everything, then seeing her awed reactions --and I know it's only going to get better...although, on the drive back home when I asked her what was her favorite part she replied, "dadas." Which is still her word for cats. Hmmm.
